Hearn revealed that conversations have taken place behind the scenes, including informal discussions involving Turki Alalshikh, while also confirming that White himself previously called him out publicly. What started as a verbal exchange has quickly escalated into something more serious, with both sides now circling the possibility of a high-profile bout.
“He keeps calling me a p&&^%… let’s find out who the real p&&^% is,” Hearn said. Despite admitting his own limitations, he suggested he would fully commit to preparing for the fight, even hinting at early training and visualizing the occasion.
The financial incentive appears to be a major driving force. Hearn claimed the fight could generate purses of around $30 million each, adding that even defeat would not outweigh the opportunity. “If I get knocked out and I make $30 million, it’s not the saddest day in the world,” he said.
