Eddie Hearn has dismissed Dana White’s claim that he will promote the planned Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua mega fight later this year.

Fury and Joshua have reportedly signed to face each other toward the end of 2026, provided both men come through their interim fights without setbacks. The fight is expected to be broadcast by Netflix, but the promotional setup remains unclear. With Hearn and Frank Warren both tied to DAZN, neither is expected to be the lead promoter for the Ring Magazine event.

White recently suggested that he would take that role, but Hearn quickly rejected the idea on social media. “Such a clout chaser. Not a chance and contractually impossible.”

The exchange adds another layer to the business drama surrounding one of British boxing’s biggest fights. Fury has previously headlined a Ring card with Spencer Brown of Goldstar Promotions listed as lead promoter, while Hearn is set to lead the Ring’s May 23 event topped by Oleksandr Usyk vs. Rico Verhoeven.
