Rising lightweight contender Dzmitry Asanau will return to action on February 5, taking on Claudio Daneff in a 10-round bout that will serve as the chief support on Eye of the Tiger’s first show of 2026 at Montreal Casino in Canada.
The undercard bout supports the WBA interim light heavyweight title fight between unbeaten Venezuelan Albert Ramirez and Britain’s Lerrone Richards. Ramirez will defend the belt he won six months ago, while Richards looks to rebound from his lone professional defeat.
Asanau is ranked No. 4 by the WBC and continues to build momentum in a busy lightweight division. The February 5 bout will mark his fifth appearance in 18 months as he looks to produce the most meaningful win of his career to date. Daneff arrives with a solid résumé built largely in South America and carries a three-fight winning streak into the matchup.
The card also features several other notable matchups. Unbeaten light heavyweights Mehmet Unal and Altin Zogaj collide in a 10-round contest, while Thomas Chabot drops to featherweight to face Dominic Babineau over the same distance.
Also scheduled is the 2024 Olympic bronze medalist Wyatt Sanford, who will meet Alexis Gabriel Camejo in a six-round bout at a 137-pound catchweight. Junior lightweight prospect Erik Israyelyan steps up to six rounds against Anthony Deloffre, while Keven Beausejour and Petr Strnad round out the show in a four-round light heavyweight contest.
