Dua Lipa has reportedly turned down an offer to perform at the long-awaited clash between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.

The heavyweight showdown was officially announced earlier this week, though key details such as date and venue remain unconfirmed. Current expectations point toward a UK staging later in 2026, possibly at Wembley Stadium, with the event likely to be broadcast on Netflix.

Efforts to elevate the spectacle reportedly included interest from Turki Alalshikh in securing a major musical act, with Dua Lipa approached to take part. While reports suggested that her involvement was strongly desired, the BBC indicates that the singer ultimately declined the opportunity.

The fight itself is still taking shape. Joshua, 36, is scheduled to face Kristian Prenga in Saudi Arabia on July 25 as a warm-up bout, while Fury, 37, is also seeking an additional fight despite recently defeating Arslanbek Makhmudov in London.

Although Dua Lipa will not be part of the event, the idea of high-profile performances remains tied to Saudi-backed boxing shows. Previous events have featured artists such as Eminem and Liam Gallagher, so organizers may still look to secure a major name ahead of Fury vs. Joshua later this year.
