Dave Allen believes Derek Chisora will end his career with a stoppage win over Deontay Wilder when they meet on Saturday night.

Chisora heads into what is expected to be his 50th and final professional fight on the back of three consecutive victories, while Wilder enters the bout following a visible decline since his trilogy with Tyson Fury. The shift in form has seen Chisora installed as the favorite despite Wilder’s reputation as one of the hardest punchers in the division.

Speaking ahead of the fight, Allen sided with that view and predicted a stoppage inside the first half of the contest. He pointed to durability, remaining energy, and overall condition as key factors between two heavyweights deep into their careers.

“For me, it comes down to who has got the most left, and I think that it is Derek Chisora,” Allen said, adding that while Wilder’s power remains dangerous, he no longer shows the same speed or intent. “I fancy Chisora to land a big one first… I think that Chisora will stop him. My prediction is Chisora in six.”

The fight takes place at the The O2 Arena, with Chisora aiming to close his career on a high and Wilder looking to reassert himself in the heavyweight picture.
