Conah Walker delivered a dramatic stoppage victory over Sam Eggington in a brutal all-action fight, before turning his attention to Conor Benn with a direct post-fight callout.
Walker rebounded from a tough start to stop Eggington in the 10th round of a relentless contest that quickly evolved into a high-paced slugfest. Eggington initially found success boxing behind his jab, but as expected, the fight soon broke down into close-range exchanges, playing into both fighters’ aggressive styles.
The momentum swung throughout the fight. Eggington had moments of control, particularly in the early rounds and with his uppercut work, but Walker gradually imposed himself. By the eighth, the toll of the exchanges began to show, with Eggington visibly tiring before being dropped during a fierce exchange along the ropes.
Despite a brief resurgence from Eggington in the ninth, Walker pushed forward and sealed the fight in the 10th round. A sustained barrage forced the referee to step in at 1:59, ending a physically demanding contest that saw both men absorb heavy punishment.
After the fight, Eggington acknowledged the result, admitting, “He outdone me this time.” Walker, meanwhile, paid respect to his opponent before shifting focus to a bigger target. “I’ve looked up to this man my whole career,” he said, before issuing a challenge: “Conor Benn… come and prove it.”

On the undercard, Bilal Fawaz retained his British and Commonwealth junior middleweight titles with a ninth-round stoppage of Ryan Kelly, continuing his late-career resurgence.
