Jamaine "The Technician" Ortiz took to the ring on Friday night at the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, Florida, aiming to recoverm with a nice win in the junior welterweight division.

Eventually Jamaine put on an impressive performance, finishing the bout with a powerful fourth-round knockout over Christian Rubio Mino. Ranked #15 by the IBF, Ortiz dropped Mino in each of the four rounds, with the fight coming to an end after a final knockdown at the two-minute mark in round four. This victory not only added the WBA Continental USA title to Ortiz's record but also affirmed his readiness for tougher challenges. After the fight, Ortiz expressed his eagerness to face top names in the division, including Jose ‘Rayo’ Valenzuela, as he aims for a world title shot.

The co-main event featured 18-year-old Kaipo Gallegos in a thrilling, all-action fight against Iron Alvarez. From the opening bell, Gallegos displayed sharp combination punches, putting Alvarez on the defensive while absorbing some powerful counterpunches himself. As the rounds progressed, Gallegos kept pressing, and in the seventh round, he unleashed a final flurry of punches that forced the referee to halt the bout, awarding Gallegos the WBA USA Continental Youth title.

On the undercard, there were several notable bouts. Alexander Rios emerged victorious in a close six-round lightweight contest against Felix Santana Jr. Both fighters had their moments, but Rios’ cleaner punches and steady pressure earned him a unanimous decision, with all judges scoring the bout 58-56 in his favor.

Chavez Barrientes delivered a standout performance in an eight-round super bantamweight clash against Noah Contreras. Barrientes dropped Contreras three times, ultimately winning by unanimous decision with scores of 80-69 across all three scorecards. In another eight-round fight, featherweight John Laryea outboxed Alejandro Majia, dropping him in the first round with a sharp left hook. Majia, who later lost a point for hitting Laryea after a slip, could not overcome Laryea's consistent performance, and the judges scored it 80-69 in favor of Laryea.

In a super lightweight matchup, Willmank Brito faced Tayre Jones in an intense six-round bout. Brito scored a knockdown in the fourth round, though it appeared to be more of a slip. Despite being deducted a point for holding in the fifth, Brito’s performance was enough to secure a unanimous decision with scorecards of 57-56 and 57-55. Meanwhile, Malik Lewis secured a unanimous decision win over Tristan Gallichan in a close six-round lightweight bout, with all judges scoring it 58-56 in Lewis' favor.

Miguel Diaz, making his professional debut, claimed a TKO victory over Caleb Hall in the second round of their super middleweight contest. Diaz landed two powerful shots that sent Hall to the canvas, prompting the referee to stop the fight at 2:55 of round two. In the bantamweight division, Marcus Harris kept his unbeaten record intact with a TKO victory over Jesus Martinez in the fourth round, the fight ending at 1:21.

Finally, Jose Fernandez scored a quick knockout victory over Zayveon Mitchell in their four-round bantamweight fight. The bout was called off at the 1:31 mark of the first round, marking Fernandez's first professional win.
