As previously reported, Shakur Stevenson (19-0, 9 KOs) will face Japan's Shuichiro Yoshino (16-0, 12 KOs) on April 8 of 2023 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Their 12-round main event, which will be televised by ESPN, was announced as part of the Invesco QQQ Legacy Classic, a collegiate basketball showcase presented by Michael B. Jordan, star of the "Creed" series. Whoever wins will be the obligatory opponent for the winner of the fight between completely unified 135-pound champion Devin Haney (29-0, 15 KOs) and former three-division champion Vasiliy Lomachenko (17-2, 11 KOs).

In the co-main event, unbeaten heavyweight Jared "The Real Big Baby" Anderson (13-0, 13 KOs) will meet fellow undefeated George Arias (18-0, 7 KOs) in a 10-round bout. “This is the kind of fight I’ve been waiting for, a big fight between two undefeated heavyweights,” Anderson remarked. ”I’m excited to once again be fighting on the same card as Shakur Stevenson. Don’t miss this fight. April 8 is going to be a special night in Newark.”

In the undercard, Keyshawn Davis (7-0, 5 KOs) of the United States will have his toughest test in the 10-round lightweight televised opening against former world championship contender Anthony Yigit (26-2-1, 10 KOs).
