Derek Chisora has reportedly declined a proposed clash with Zhilei Zhang, instead shifting his focus toward a long-discussed matchup with Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller for what is expected to be his final professional appearance.

The 40-year-old Londoner is set to headline at Manchester’s Co-Op Live Arena, marking his 50th and final bout. While the event has been officially announced, confirmation of his opponent has remained elusive. Zhang was previously considered one of two leading candidates, but sources now indicate that Chisora has rejected that offer.

Chisora, who earned a unanimous decision win over Otto Wallin in February, appears to favor a more personal matchup to close his storied career. Reports suggest that negotiations are now centered on Miller, a fight that had originally been planned earlier this year before falling through when Wallin replaced the American.

While a final agreement has not yet been reached, all indications point toward Chisora vs. Miller taking center stage in Manchester, which can be a fittingly fiery farewell for one of British boxing’s most durable heavyweights.
