Golden Boy Promotions touched down in Palm Desert for its first boxing event at Acrisure Arena, delivering a full DAZN card built around rising contenders and regional title fights.
In the main event, Raul Curiel handled a short-notice move up in weight to go ten rounds with Jordan Panthen. After a competitive opening, Curiel’s cleaner work and composure began to tell as the fight progressed, particularly from the middle rounds onward. A late right hand in the ninth nearly dropped Panthen, and Curiel closed the contest in control to earn a clear unanimous decision.

The co-feature saw Jorge Chavez settle unfinished business with Manny Flores in their rematch. Flores pressed early, but Chavez gradually asserted himself by standing his ground and landing the heavier shots. A strong surge late swung the momentum decisively, allowing Chavez to take a unanimous decision and claim the vacant California State and WBA Continental USA super bantamweight titles.
