Queensberry Promotions has announced the signing of former undisputed super lightweight champion Chantelle Cameron and Aadam Hamed, son of featherweight Hall of Famer, Naseem Hamed. Chantelle Cameron, aged 32, recently parted ways with Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing, finding a new home at Frank Warren’s Queensberry Promotions. During a media conference, Cameron expressed her enthusiasm, stating:

“I’m coming with a vengeance and to get out all the frustrations I’ve endured with all the ups and downs. I’m going to make a statement at 140 pounds, I’m coming to get my belts back.”

In May 2023, Cameron secured a victory over Katie Taylor in Dublin, marking Taylor’s first professional defeat. However, in a rematch six months later, Taylor reclaimed her WBC, WBA, IBF, and WBO belts. Taylor, who is promoted by Hearn, is set to face Amanda Serrano in July, a fight Cameron was keen to have for herself.

Cameron hinted that her next fight would be announced soon, likely taking place in the UK, allowing her fans easier access.

“It will be nice for my fans to not have to travel so far, to be able to get on a train or just jump in the car,” she said.

Aadam Hamed, following in his father's footsteps, also joins Queensberry Promotions. He turned professional in August of last year, marking his debut with a first-round stoppage. Hamed shared his affection for Frank Warren, saying:

“I’ve always known in my heart that I wanted it to be Frank. I look at him like family.”

Frank Warren praised both fighters, noting Hamed’s dedication and potential despite the challenges of living up to his father’s legacy.

Both signings mark significant steps for Queensberry Promotions, as they continue to build their roster with both established and rising talent in the boxing world.
