Both fighters, known for their resilience and skill inside the ring, promised a showdown that enthusiasts had been eagerly awaiting.
All in all, Raul “Cugar” Curiel successfully defended his title against Courtney Pennington. Throughout the fight, Curiel maintained a consistent edge, culminating in a surprise stoppage by referee Gerard White in the final seconds of the tenth round, even after landing a decisive left hook on Pennington’s chin.
The co-main event saw super bantamweight southpaw “Gucci” Manny Flores (16-1, 12 KOs) overpower Jerson Ortiz (17-8, 8 KOs) in just two rounds.
