In a riveting fight at the College Park Center on the University of Texas at Arlington campus, William Zepeda (28-0, 24 KOs) was fighting against Jaime Arboleda (19-3, 14 KOs).

All in all, in the main event Zepeda managed to deliver a crushing defeat to Arboleda. William showcased his dominance by knocking down Jaime three times with brutal body shots, ultimately securing a second-round knockout. The fight was called at 2:16, marking a stunning victory for Zepeda.

The first knockdown saw Zepeda corner Arboleda against the ropes before landing a powerful left to Arboleda's liver, sending him crashing to the canvas. Arboleda managed to stand, but it was evident he was in serious trouble. With no miracle in sight, Zepeda pounced on his wounded opponent, delivering a relentless flurry of punches that resulted in a second knockdown.

The chief support bout featured an unexpected upset, as undefeated featherweight Victor Morales (18-0, 8 KOs) overpowered Diego De La Hoya (24-2, 11 KOs) in a second-round knockout. Morales, 25, downed De La Hoya with a well-placed left hook, leaving him bleeding and barely able to beat the count. Despite the damage, De La Hoya continued to trade blows with Morales until another devastating left hook sent him to the ground for the second time. Unable to recover, De La Hoya was counted out by the referee at 1:08 of the second round.

In other undercard action, welterweight Frederick Lawson (30-3, 22 KOs) emerged victorious against relentless pressure-fighter Estevan Villalobos (16-2-1, 12 KOs) in a ten-round unanimous decision, with scores of 96-94, 96-94, and 97-93. Undefeated super middleweight David Stevens (13-0, 9 KOs) narrowly overcame 38-year-old former world title challenger Marco Antonio Periban (26-7, 17 KOs) in a competitive eight-round unanimous decision. Finally, cruiserweight prospect Tristan Kalkreuth (10-1, 7 KOs) displayed a solid performance against Jonathan Rice (2-3, 2 KOs), winning by a six-round unanimous decision with scores of 59-55 across the board.
