A packed Planet Ice in Altrincham got a rough, bloody domestic headliner as Jack Rafferty and Mark Chamberlain met over 12 lively rounds, their styles clashing early and the momentum swinging through cuts, counters and late surges.
Rafferty and Chamberlain ultimately finished level on the cards in a majority draw after a punishing fight. Southpaw Chamberlain found the target with a sharp left late in the opening session, but Rafferty answered with a right hand that opened a cut over Chamberlain’s left eye in the third, then split the right brow in the fourth and bloodied the nose in the fifth. Chamberlain’s volume improved in the middle rounds while Rafferty’s body work told, and the tenth clearly went Chamberlain’s way after a string of lefts landed clean. The last minute saw both hurt the other - Chamberlain buckled Rafferty with a left, Rafferty returned fire with a right just before the bell—before scores came in at 115–114 for Chamberlain and two cards of 114–114. Howard Foster refereed.

Commonwealth featherweight champion Zak Miller outboxed Leon Woodstock Jr over 12 bruising rounds, winning a unanimous decision by scores of 117–111, 117–112 and 117–112. An early clash of heads cut Woodstock in the first, and Miller opened that eyebrow again with a right late in the third. Both had facial damage as the rounds wore on—Miller swelling under the right eye, Woodstock gathering cuts around the left—yet Miller’s right uppercut and steadier work kept him ahead. Referee John Latham warned Miller for pushing in the eleventh before a strong finish sealed it.
