Amanda Serrano retained her WBA and WBO featherweight titles with a majority decision over Lucrecia Manzur in California, earning the 50th victory of her professional career.
The fight made history as the first world championship boxing main event streamed live on TikTok and attracted 3.4 million total views.
Serrano was pushed hard by Manzur before finishing strongly over the final rounds. The judges scored the fight 114-114, 116-112 and 116-112 for the Puerto Rican.
The 37-year-old missed the chance to break Christy Martin’s women’s boxing knockout record and remains tied on 32 stoppages.
“Wow this was rough,” Serrano later wrote. “The mind tells you one thing but the body does another.”
Serrano is planning one final fight in Puerto Rico later this year or in early 2027, although no opponent has yet been confirmed.
