Anthony Joshua made a successful return to the ring on Saturday night, overcoming early adversity to stop Kristian Prenga in the second round of the heavyweight main event at Jeddah Superdome in Saudi Arabia.

Joshua's comeback got off to a shocking start as Prenga floored the former unified heavyweight champion twice in the opening round. Joshua recovered from both knockdowns and came out aggressively in the second, eventually ending the fight with a knockout at 2:43 of Round 2 to improve to 30-4 (27 KOs). Prenga suffered just the second defeat of his career, falling to 20-2 (20 KOs).
