Adam Azim is reportedly being positioned for an IBF super lightweight world title shot in early 2027.
Azim has climbed to No. 4 in the IBF rankings after stopping Steve Claggett in three rounds in May.
Lindolfo Delgado and Arthur Biyarslanov are scheduled to fight for the vacant IBF title on October 31, and Azim’s team reportedly wants him to face the winner next year.
Before that, the 24-year-old is expected to headline a Boxxer card in October or November. Zaur Abdullaev and IBF No. 6 Gabriel Valenzuela are among the possible opponents.
Azim’s brother Hassan is also expected to feature on the undercard following his first-round knockout of Jack Martin.
