In a showdown at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Vergil Ortiz Jr. faced off against WBC interim junior middleweight champion Serhii Bohachuk in a grueling twelve-round battle.

Ortiz Jr., was put to the test as Bohachuk dropped him twice, once in the first round and again in the eighth. Despite being hurt multiple times and battling a cut over his left eye and a bleeding nose, Ortiz managed to rally in the later rounds. The fight went the distance, and the judges awarded Ortiz a controversial majority decision with scores of 113-113, 114-112, and 114-112. Many observers, however, felt that Bohachuk had done enough to secure the win.

On the main card, Charles Conwell delivered a dominant performance, knocking out veteran Khiary Gray in the second round of their junior middleweight bout. Conwell targeted Gray's body with precision, landing two powerful left hooks that left Gray unable to continue.

In another bout, light welterweight contender Kenneth Sims took on former IBF super bantamweight champion Jonathan Romero. Sims showcased his skills, stopping Romero in the fifth round. Despite Romero's resilience and occasional flashes of speed, Sims' attack, particularly to the body, wore down the veteran fighter. Romero's corner considered stopping the fight earlier, but it wasn't until after the fifth round that the contest was halted, giving Sims a well-earned victory.

IBF Flyweight World Champion Gabriela Fundora successfully defended her title against Daniela Asenjo, winning every round on the judges' scorecards. Fundora, standing tall at 5'9", used her significant height and reach advantage to dominate Asenjo throughout the fight. Asenjo, despite her best efforts to close the distance and land punches, struggled to make an impact.

Welterweight prospect Joel Iriarte continued his knockout streak by dispatching Miguel Ortiz in the first round. Iriarte, now 4-0 with 4 KOs, wasted no time, landing a crushing left hook that sent Ortiz crashing into the ropes. Iriarte quickly followed up, sealing the victory with a decisive stoppage.
