The rising stars of boxing take center stage as Jahmal Harvey and Kevin Cervantes headline MVP Showcase 2 on Tuesday, November 11. The four-fight event will be held at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and broadcast live on the MVP and Netflix YouTube channels, coinciding with Paul vs. Tank Fight Week’s Open Workouts.
Harvey (1-0, 1 KO), the 2021 amateur world champion from Cheverly, Maryland, looks to build on his explosive professional debut after stopping Marcelo Del Aguila in one round at MVP 14 in August. Across the ring, Colombia’s Cervantes (5-0, 5 KOs) comes off a first-round TKO win over Juan Armando Obregon Landeros in September, with the pair meeting in a six-round super featherweight bout.
In the co-feature, Kaipo Gallegos (10-0-1, 8 KOs) takes on Cristian Perez (12-3-1, 7 KOs) in an eight-round lightweight contest. Gallegos, from Las Vegas, seeks his fourth win of 2025 after a second-round TKO of Alberto Mercado, while Mexico’s Perez aims to rebound from a stoppage defeat to Eridson Garcia.
Also featured is a four-round cruiserweight clash between Brazilian Olympian Keno Marley and Diarra Davis Jr. (2-1, 1 KO). Marley returns after injury forced him out of MVP 13 in June, while Baltimore’s Davis enters fresh off a first-round TKO win over Israel Troles Acevedo.
Opening the night, Argentina’s Nazarena Romero (14-1-2, 8 KOs) faces Venezuela’s Mayerlin Rivas (17-6-3, 11 KOs) in an eight-round super bantamweight bout. Romero, a former interim WBA champion, looks to rebound from a split-decision loss to Mayelli Flores Rosquero, while ex-two-division titleholder Rivas seeks to end a two-fight skid.
