Mykal Fox (25-5, 5 KOs) will return to the Live Casino & Hotel in Hanover, Maryland on November 22 to defend his UBO Continental (North America) super welterweight title in the main event of Jeter Promotions’ “Night of Championship Pro Boxing 19.”
Fox won the UBO title at the same venue in July, dominating every round against Kendo Castaneda. Now he takes on another southpaw, Philadelphia’s Mark Dawson (12-1-1, 4 KOs), who sees this fight as the biggest opportunity of his career. The 28-year-old challenger carries confidence and momentum, hoping to seize his first professional title.
Dawson turned pro in 2016 and remained unbeaten until dropping a decision to Paul Kroll in a matchup of undefeated prospects in 2021. Prior to that, he scored a notable win over the 13-0-1 Ivan Pandzic, establishing himself as a legitimate rising contender. Since the loss to Kroll, Dawson has not been defeated, positioning himself as a dangerous test for Fox.
A full undercard will lead into the Fox–Dawson title fight, rounding out a packed night of action headlined by two talented southpaws looking to make a statement.
