Biography
Nestor Bravo Velázquez (born 6 October 1993) is a Puerto Rican professional boxer who competes in the super lightweight division. Born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, Bravo turned professional in 2015 following a decorated amateur career and has established himself as one of Puerto Rico's leading contenders at 140 pounds.
As an amateur, Bravo compiled a 62–8 record, winning multiple Florida P.A.L. and Junior Olympic titles. His most notable amateur achievement came in 2011 when he defeated future Olympic gold medalist Robson Conceição in the final of the José "Cheo" Aponte International tournament.
Since entering the professional ranks, Bravo has captured the WBC Latino lightweight, WBO NABO super lightweight, and WBA Continental titles. Among his most notable victories are wins over Adrian Yung, Will Madera, Carlos Manuel Portillo, and Pedro Campa, the latter coming via a highlight-reel second-round knockout at Barclays Center in January 2026. After suffering the first defeat of his career in 2025, Bravo rebounded with the statement victory over Campa, positioning himself for a world title opportunity.
