Erik Bazinyan

Erik Bazinyan was born on May 21, 1995, in Yerevan, Armenia, but he has since relocated to Quebec, Canada. Bazinyan boasts an impressive amateur record of 108-1. However, during his professional boxing career, Bazinyan faced personal challenges, taking time away from the sport due to emotional difficulties he experienced after losing his father. He returned to the sport in 2023, highlighting that even the mightiest warriors must confront mental battles before facing their opponents. In other words, mental health is often more important than technique.

Bazinyan's journey began in December 2014, showcasing his determination, talent, and dedication. Currently residing in Quebec, he made his professional debut, signaling the start of an exciting journey. His boxing style, characterized by a potent combination of power and precision, quickly became his trademark. As a championship prospect within the super middleweight division, he has demonstrated grit, versatility, knockout power, and pinpoint accuracy, drawing the attention of fans and boxing insiders alike, speculating whether he can challenge top championship contenders like David Benavidez or Steven Nelson from B&B Academy.

One of the pivotal moments in Bazinyan's career occurred when he secured the NABA Super Middleweight title against Alan Campa and later the NABF Super Middleweight Title against Scott Sigmon during the COVID-19 era of boxing. Bazinyan is proficient at body shots and utilizes a step-back jab that inflicts damage while keeping him out of the range of his opponents' power strikes.
